Amazing Iceland - Golden circle & South coast 6 Days.
“The land of Fire and Ice” – Iceland is a country of extreme contrasts with some of the largest glaciers in Europe and some of the most active volcanoes. Iceland´s midnight sun never sets during the summer, while during winter you might only see the daylight for a few hours. This contrasted country is surrounded by beautiful mountains and amazing nature of glaciers, icebergs, geysers, volcanic islands, birds, beaches, whales and much more. Every year, there are an increasing number of tourists visiting from all over the world to experience the wonders of the unique nature in Iceland.
Day 1. Reykjavik – The beautiful south coast and impressive waterfalls
Arrival at Reykjavik Keflavik International.
On the first day, you begin your journey towards the southern coast, the most popular destination in Iceland. Here you can experience spectacular Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls, volcanoes, glaciers, and black sand beaches. Not to mention the Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach with its unique basalt columns. You will enjoy an Icelandic lunch in Vik, continue to explore the village Vik with its volcanic surroundings and the view of the sea.
Day 2. Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon – Diamond beach - Jökulsárlón

Today, we keep exploring the south coast, continuing our tour towards the Eldhraun lava fields that is covered with endless moss from the Laki eruption. Furthermore, you can take an easy hike to the incredible Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon. After lunch, we will proceed to Europe’s biggest glacier, the Jökulsárlón Glacier, which is a part of Vatnajökull. Here you will have an amazing experience with a Jökulsárlón glacier Lagoon Amphibian boat trip where you will sail between the icebergs of the glacier. Afterwards you can stop by the Diamond Beach, where you will see chunks of ice sparkling on the black volcanic sands.
Day 3. Westman Island, the Pompeii of the North & the world largest Artic Puffin colony

Westman is a town on the island Heimaey which is the largest of 15-18 islands in the Westman Islands archipelago. Here we will visit the Eldheimar Volcano Museum and if you like, you can take a hiking tour to the top of the still warm volcano area. Back in town, you will have an Icelandic fresh seafood lunch. After lunch, you will have more time to explore Westman Island, the world’s largest Artic Puffin colony, to watch these beautiful puffins. You can also catch a glimpse of the pristine UNESCO Heritage site Surtsey which was formed by an underwater ground eruption.
Day 4. Golden Circle

This day starts with a Golden Circle tour. It is one of the most popular Iceland tours and allows you to experience Iceland’s most iconic sights, such as geyser geothermal area, the waterfall Gullfoss, and the UNESCO site Þingvellir National Park. Golden Circle tour combines history, culture, and incredible Icelandic nature to make your day unforgettable. The geyser geothermal area is located in the southwest of Iceland and contains the geysers Geyir, The Great Geysir and Strokkur. Though Geysir has been mostly dormant for many years, Strokkur continues to shoot up a column of water up to 30 meters into the air every 5–10 minutes. Gullfoss, the golden waterfall, is one of the most famous waterfalls in Iceland. This three-step amazing waterfall is a part of the glacial river Hvítá and falls into a 62-meter-deep canyon. The UNESCO World Heritage Site Þingvellir National Park has an outstanding significance both geologically and historically speaking. It is the location of the oldest extant parliament in the world and also it is located at the fault line of North American and European tectonic plate that pull the country apart by 2-3 centimeters per year.
Day 5. Reykjavik -Blue Lagoon

This morning you start on a journey to explore the city of Reykjavík, the capital city of Iceland. You will visit the capital city’s top attractions -Hallgrimskirkja church whose unique design was inspired by basalt lava columns and the stunning Harpa concert hall and conference center, the Perlan with breathtaking 360-degree view over the beautiful city of Reykjavík, Bessastaðir-the official residence of the President of Iceland and more. After lunch in Reykjavík, you will drive to the popular outdoor spa destination the Blue Lagoon. It is surrounded by fantastic volcanic landscapes and blue milky water. Here you will enjoy a rejuvenating spa in the geothermal hot spring and mineral-rich waters in a lava field. The rest of the day, you will have relax-unwind times in Blue Lagoon. Before you return to the hotel, you will also enjoy true Icelandic dinner at a restaurant in the Blue Lagoon.
Day 6. Reykjavik

You will be picked up by a private driver and transfer to Reykjavik airport and depart by flight according to your Itinerary.
